Production / Parts Manager – Somerset West.A renowned high-tech design and aviation manufacturing company is looking for a “Production / Parts Manager’’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area.Excellent salary (subject to background and experience) on offer and internal career advancement opportunities.Requirements:Diploma or any similar production or operational qualification essentialMinimum 5 years solid working experience within a manufacturing / production environmentStrong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, SAP, JIRA)Excellent communication skill on all levelsA lean and efficient mind-setAny other applicable legislation or legal requirement relevant to our industryAbility to work independently and under pressureOwn transport essentialFully bilingual (Afrikaans & English) or any third language will be highly recommendedYou may be required from time to time to work extra hours and / weekends when needed for production or operations to run, you may be required to work nightshiftKey Responsibilities:Manage all resources and ensure that the factory maintains production of finished products at the required quality and efficiency levelEnsure the back orders are checked numerous times to ensure no order is late and to ensure that the production plan is set up to satisfy current requirementsEnsure and maintain a full start up and end of shift inspection, for incomplete processes, unsafe situations and maintaining of equipment and machinery is in orderEnsure that the systems is used correctly and efficiently at all timeGenerate daily production reportResponsible for accurate weekly and monthly reporting of all production figuresManage all processes and procedures to ensure they are correctly followed by the full production team at all timesMaintain excellent quality standards with regards to processes and productsCreate and update Standard Operating Procedures as and when requiredInvestigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and implement necessary corrective actions and preventative actionsManage all production staff to always perform optimally, correctly and prevent wasteEnsure that any and all staff members are trained and kept up to date with all relevant production requirements, procedures and regulations that need to be adhered to.Manage daily attendance and time keeping of all production staffManage a good communication channel to and from the floorApplying for Position:If you are interested in this great career opportunity, please send us your CV with position title as reference.#J-18808-Ljbffr
