Job Description:This exciting opportunity exists in our Information & Technology Division at our Kenilworth Office Park in Cape Town. We are looking for a BI Support Team Lead responsible to provide effective functional support for customer requests (issues, problems and enhancements). This support is provided within agreed SLAs through analysis, configuration, testing, training and up-/cross-skilling BI support team members and consists of three core focus areas(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Document or update functional specifications for system developments to be done and work with developers and data engineers on requirements.Ensure all support knowledge for resolving incidents and service requests are up-to-date.Able to work on simultaneous assignments/complex projects.Ensure the Team provides effective first and second level incident support to the business and third parties by assisting with the analysis, clarifying the issue/s and resolving issues within the agreed operational and service level agreement (OLA/SLA) and communicating effectively to business users and colleagues.Map and trace data from system to system in order to solve any given business or system problems.Ensure business compliance to processes and procedures.Prepare test scripts for testing the configured scenarios and perform unit and regression testing of system configuration or development changes before releasing the changes to QA/Regression and Production systems.Establish the root cause of repeated incidents and recommend resolutions or procedural process changes to relevant stakeholders.Manage the escalation of Issues and escalate timeously to the BI Senior Manager for support when a solution is not forthcoming.Share resolution knowledge and experience with team.Configure approved system changes or enhancements in SAP BW/4HANA.Job Requirements:Understanding of SAP ECC data structures, interfaces to SAP BW and non-SAP system integration.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.Exposure to a customer service environment.6 to 8 years’ SAP BW experience.Understanding of Retail is advantageousJob Details:Company:Pick n PayVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location:Cape TownApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
