This role is offered on a 6-month FTC/Interim Contract with Competitive Salary Our ideal candidate will have significant experience within the Fibre sector of the Telecoms Industry which is critical in order to drive our Sales function by increasing revenue growth and market expansion. With a laser focused strategy to increase our customer connections you will lead development and execution of sales strategies, define people process and systems whilst fostering a culture of sales excellence and high-performance customer centric campaigns. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering strong customer engagements whilst delivering sales performance championing Airband values across the organisation and Telecoms sector. The Role: Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth • Define and implement appropriate and innovative sales strategies for Airband’s products and propositions. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and channels to drive revenue growth and market penetration. • In partnership with the Head of Marketing, develop and execute effective channel growth strategies to grow our customer base and increase channel profitability. • Develop sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring appropriate reporting and analysis is in place to inform strategic decision-making. • Oversee company sales performance against targets, identifying and implementing corrective measures as required. • Ensure market trends, customer feedback and competitor activities are analysed to identify opportunities and risks. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders, championing customers’ needs throughout the organisation. People, Process and Systems • Engage, motivate, mentor and develop the Sales function. • Ensure appropriate performance metrics, KPIs and drivers are in place for the team and drive performance against these to achieve individual and collective daily/weekly/monthly sales targets. • Proactively manage performance, guiding and supporting teams to deliver. • Drive continuous improvement and innovative thinking across function. • Lead functional transformation activities and organisational change. • Lead quality assurance within the function, ensuring frameworks are in place to maintain high standards of sales professionalism, ethics and customer service excellence. • Ensure functional compliance with company policies, sales processes and regulatory requirements at all times. • Champion Airband’s Values across the organisation, ensuring they are meaningfully reflected in ways of working. What we need from you: • Minimum degree or equivalent level experience in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (master’s level preferred) • Proven track record of successful delivery in sales leadership roles - preferably within the telecommunications or broadband industry • Significant demonstrable experience at a senior level of leading and developing teams. • Experience of leading process and system improvements and organisational change • Demonstrable strategic thinking, planning and execution. • Experience defining, embedding and monitoring KPI’s. • Leading multiple projects simultaneously and through to completion Please note that you are required to have the right to work in the UK and we request satisfactory references as part of our recruitment process. A DBS check may be required for a number of our roles, particularly those that are customer-facing. Also, a driving license may be required for positions that require you to be out in the field as part of the role.
