Your Role We’re looking for our next superstar Talent Matching Specialist to join our Placements team which is responsible for ensuring all our interns get a guaranteed remote internship placement. The role will start as a 3-month full-time contract role , with potential to become permanent dependent on performance. This is a fast-paced, targets-driven role that “always finds a way”: You’ll be part of a Placement Team that is the envy of the industry (yep, big claim we know!). No-one else in the world is able to guarantee a remote internship for every student, except our Placement Team! Everything is global. Our team is global (20+ countries), our interns are global (100+ countries), our host companies are global (75+ countries). You’ll learn how to work with various cultures and adapt your communication style accordingly. Build your global network. You will be working with Founders/C-Level decision-makers of businesses across the world, so expect to connect with a whole range of inspiring and innovative leaders! Variety. A “regular” day might be a morning spent syncing with your colleagues in South Africa and Vietnam, before an afternoon of meetings with companies in India, France, Sweden, and then later in the day you’re sending profiles of your UK interns to a company in Columbia. It really does happen all the time! What You’ll Be Doing Ensuring our interns are placed in 1-4 month remote internship placements with host companies from around the world Sourcing your own host companies via LinkedIn, Cold Emails, Phone Calls, plus any other channels you want to try! Being super-creative at persuading host companies to consider your interns Conducting Zoom calls with host companies to walk through our product and your interns Being a trusted partner and advisor to host companies on their intern needs Support all necessary administration relating to the placement process, and keep information up to date in our CRM system. Who We're Looking For You have experience of studying/working abroad, understand and appreciate the value of an international internship. Either 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition or in B2B sales/business development OR>1-2 years experience a customer service / account management Persuasive in verbal and written English. You’ll spend the majority of your time communicating with host companies so whilst we don’t require an IELTS, your English level should be equivalent to 7.5 or above Target Oriented: Able to meet your intern placement targets to earn uncapped commissions, with a proven track record of hitting KPIs, thinking outside of the box to achieve your goals when necessary. High level of attention to detail, with a proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks, seeing them through to successful outcomes. Strong sense of agency, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to find ways to achieve goals regardless of obstacles. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Persistence, persistence, persistence. So much so, we had to write it three times! Virtual Internships Perks and Benefits Remote-First: We're a remote-first business so you will receive a Work From Home Budget depending on your location. If you’re based in Vietnam, we also have an HCMC office you can work from. Flexible Working Hours: Start earlier, leave earlier, take a shorter lunch, or leave later, it's totally up to you. Annual Leave : Wherever you are in the world, you’ll get 25 days of paid annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and 5 sick days. Life Event Leave: There are moments in life where your life responsibility is a higher priority than work (e.g. moving house, your best friend getting married, your sister having a baby) therefore, you’ll get 5 days of paid life-event leave to support these occasions. You also get a day off on your birthday. This is in addition to your Annual Leave. Flexible VIer Budget: You’ll receive a flexible budget of $1,000 per year that you can use on but not limited to your work setup, personal wellness, or professional development. Tech: New joiners receive either a Windows or Mac company laptop depending on the role.
