Risk and Compliance Manager position in Stellenbosch. The Risk and Compliance Managers will introduce standards, methodology and best practises relevant to the sector as well as participate in Strategic project management for the organization. Tasks will include monitoring, performance auditing and reporting on active projects and portfolios and reporting progress to senior management for strategic decisions. Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and review legal, regulatory, financial, operational, strategic, social, environmental, governance risks to the organisation. Develop and maintain country specific Legal Registers. Review and update corporate risk register and develop and maintain park/department specific risk registers. Develop risk mitigation strategies through the development of policies, procedures, best practices, and standards. Formulate policies and procedures through the development of a Standards of Business Conduct manual for the organisation. Promote Ethical Business Practices through the use of policies and procedures. Risk Awareness and Training Risk Verification and Compliance within the organisation Corporate policy management and oversight Create risk and compliance awareness by reporting on Environmental, Social and Governance risk Environmental and Social Safeguarding Provide oversight of the Environmental and Social Management System (World Bank, IUCN and IFC best practice) Requirements: Relevant Business Degree 10 Years’ experience in a similar role (At least 4 years in Management) Knowledge of the Conservation Industry Professional English language skills Financial and Budget management Skills in negotiating, analytic skills, excellent interpersonal communications Excellent reporting skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
