Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd | Full time X3 Credit ControllerCape Town, South Africa | Posted on 08/05/2024 Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a Sage X3Credit Controller with a  can-do attitude you will manage assignedcustomers to ensure debt is collected in accordance with terms and the salesledger is accurately maintained. Theprimary responsibilities of this role are to ensure accuracy and completenessof the sales ledger and communicate with clients regarding outstanding debt. PrimaryObjectives and Responsibilities: Responsibilityfor managing effectively a share of the debtor book of the company. Dailycollection of due amounts via telephone, email and letter. Investigate disputes in order to secure apayment. Dealingwith and resolving queries in a prompt manner through a helpdesk ticketingsystem. Building Strong relationships with finance departments of our clientbase. Liaising with the Account Managers on any collection issues with theirclients. Processing refund payments to the client ensuring internal systems areupdated once cleared by the bank. Resolving unallocated receipts / credit balances. Liaising with clients following incorrect or missing remittances. Preparing and issuing consolidated invoices twice a month. Assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with ongoing improvements withinthe department. Requirements Haveprevious experience working in a similar role. Havedemonstrable energy, flexibility, proactivity and a “can do” attitude. Be ableto work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Have theability to work independently, and within a team, to achieve individual anddepartmental targets. Good analyticaland Excel skills with excellent attention to detail. A solidunderstanding of finance is essential (AAT qualification or above is preferredbut not essential). Haveexperience working with office and finance systems.
