As a Solar Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the efficient operation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components. Your responsibilities will include: Installing solar panels and associated equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. Conducting site assessments to determine the feasibility of solar installations. Performing routine maintenance and inspections of solar systems to identify and resolve issues. Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems in solar energy systems. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times. Providing technical support and training to customers and colleagues as needed. Requirements: Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, and batteries. Proficiency in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as NEC and NEMA. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
