Requirements Associate Professor A PhD in Education with considerable teaching experience in Initial Teacher Education and post-graduate programmes with: - Higher Education teaching experience in the following disciplinary areas: English Language Teaching and Academic Literacies/ Development. Research supervision experience of Master of Education students required, and of PhD students preferred. National and emerging international profile in the discipline. Track record of administration, management, and/or leadership roles (leadership roles may be informal) School teaching experience and the ability to speak more than one South African language will be advantages.
