We are looking for a new BIM Coordinator, who has ambitions to leading digital transformation in the South African market. Join us, if you want to expand your knowledge regarding Building Information Management (BIM) and our digital journey.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFunction tasks:Define project information requirements in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).Develop and gain consensus of the Project Standards, Methods, and Procedures (SMP).Assess the task team’s capability to produce information in accordance with the SMP.Define the information production responsibilities of each task team.Enable reliable information exchange through the information environment, and information management tools.Ensure the availability of the Common Data Environment (CDE) to all task teams.Authorize the project information model on behalf of the Delivery Team Lead.Maintain and receive information into the information model.Ensure the project information model is produced in accordance with the project's SMP.Manage risks associated to the production of the project information model.Enable integration and coordination of information within information model.Configure information in line with the project requirements.Populate the information exchange format for the information model.Tasks in relation with others:Consulted by the Appointing party to:Capture any specific standards, methods and procedures required by the client.Respond to the appointing party's EIR within the BIM execution plan.Document and validate the information requirements within the appointing party's EIR.Consulted by the Task Team Manager to:Document and validate the information requirements within the lead project team member EIR’s.Review and authorize the project information model against the appointing party's EIR on behalf of the Task Team Manager.Qualifications,Skills and ExperienceDegree, Diploma or Certification from either BIM, Revit MEP, Architecture, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical.Minimum of 3 years post qualification relevant, multi-disciplinary experience, preferably within a consulting engineering environmentPractical knowledge, use & application of EIR, BEP, MIDP, MPTP, etc based on project experience.High level of experience in the use of multiple BIM Authoring Platforms such as Autodesk Revit.Intermediate experience in the use of multiple Clash Detection & Coordination Platforms – Navisworks, Autodesk Model Coordination.Intermediate level of knowledge in the use, application & management of BIM Cloud Platform - Autodesk BIM360.Revizto, Dynamo and Python knowledge and experience.Enthusiastic, go-getter attitude.Accurate and detail oriented with good organizational skills (plan and prioritize).Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle pressure.Excellent communication skills (at all levels and across cultures).Excellent team relationship skills.The ability to work independently and with limited supervision.Behavioural CompetenciesSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, go-getter attitudeResults orientated and target drivenGood organisational skills (plan and prioritise)Ability to balance and meet multiple deadlines and handle pressureExcellent teamwork and communication skills (at all levels)#J-18808-Ljbffr
