The IIE Varsity College, Pretoria Campushas a vacancy for Part-Time Lecturer in: Criminology, specifically in: South Africa and African Social Justice Crime in Context: Theory&Typologies Youth in Conflict with the Law South Africa and African Social Justice Competencies Required: Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Presentation Skills Assertiveness and dynamism Understanding of customer service in education Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively Minimum Qualification Requirements: Ideal: Bachelor of Arts Honours/ Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree in Criminology. Alternatively: Postgraduate Diploma, MA/ MPhil, PhD/ DPhil qualification in Criminology. NQF 8 qualification in social development, policy, and development. Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Criminology. Work experience is not as critical for the Criminology module as it is relatively theory based, but lecturers must be able to apply the theory to a relevant work environment.
