Requirements:Undergraduate degree preferable. Mechanical Engineering or similar. Post graduate studies advantageous.5 years+ engineering design, construction management experience. HVAC experience advantageous.Professional Registration (PrENG, PrTech, etc.) advantageous.Duties:Technical lead within the company’s engineering office.Managing technical aspects on multiple HVAC Projects. (design and implementation)Managing technical design and implementation on large industrial HVAC applications.Drive technical best practice in office, including research into new methods and processes.Estimation and Cost Control, including assisting in project tendering and costing.Drive deadline achievement on all projects.Manage Technical staff and contractors.Project reporting to management as required.Project Managing including site liaising and site meetings and programming.Technical submittals as part of project approval processes.Maintain change management logs and variation orders.Ensure that change logs are recorded and costing provided for all variations on site.Notify builder and relevant parties of any delays to the program.Protect the company from potential penalties by actively managing the program and informing parties of delays.Inform the company’s Directors of issues arising on site which need immediate attention.Managing the claim process, including verification of certificates and claim queries.Kindly regard your application as unsuccessful if you have not heard from the agency within 2 weeks.
