Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, adhering to established recipes and standards.Ensure that all pastry items are prepared and presented to the highest quality, taste, and appearance, reflecting the luxury experience expected by our guests.Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative dessert menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and local flavors.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, and assist in ordering as needed to maintain stock levels.Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance on techniques, recipes, and best practices.Assist in special event planning and execution, including weddings, private dinners, and other functions, as required.Contribute to menu planning and cost control efforts to ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.Requirements:Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or luxury lodge environment.Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating.Creativity and passion for developing new pastry recipes and dessert concepts.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Formal culinary training or relevant certification is preferred.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
