The perfect candidate for this role must have at least 5 years relevant working experience and tertiary qualification for this role.Responsibilities:Capture Creditor transactions and Reconcile Creditor statements for group companiesAllocate Payments to creditors, allocate credit notes to invoices and allocate discounts where applicableCompile and balance inter-company loan accountsComplete general ledger reconciliationsProcess retainer billing sales invoicesReview and maintain debtors accountsDistribution of Debtor StatementsCollection of outstanding debtCompile Bank reconciliationsAssist with improving and drafting of financial processes and proceduresPrepares financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing account information and trendsAssist with preparing management accounts of the groupAssist with submission of various SARS returnsAssist with any other duties required that could be expected from the position Requirements:Degree in Accounting or Finance preferably with completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA)Minimum of 5 years of accounting experienceSound knowledge of VAT requirementsExperience with SARS e-filing submissions and dealing with SARS queriesProficient user of accounting software preferably in XeroComputer literate: fully conversant with the current uses of information technology in the workplace and uses IT as a management toolHighly numerate and able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial dataStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasksClear Credit and Criminal checksValidation of Highest Level of EducationValid References
