This role involves detailed financial analysis, asset appraisal, financial modelling, and providing expert advisory services during mergers and acquisitions. Experience in mergers and acquisitions and financial analysis. Multi-sector environment is ideal Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of companies' financial planning, including initial balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and bottom lines. Asset Appraisal: Perform thorough appraisals of both tangible (tangible and intangible fixed assets) and intangible assets (elements that determine competitive ability and generate earnings or value added). Financial Information Structuring: Organize and structure financial data, converting it into comprehensive documents, including spreadsheets, presentations, and textual reports. Financial Modelling: Develop financial models to evaluate various scenarios based on different assumptions. Assess business profitability, propose diverse financial strategies, and generate graphical representations for each scenario. Transaction Structuring: Design models for share purchases, debt restructuring, and company capitalization. Advisory Role: Provide expert advice during mergers and acquisitions, leveraging appraisals of tangible and intangible assets, financial planning, and modelling insights. Negotiations: Participate in negotiation processes for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring optimal outcomes for all parties involved. Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence activities prior to acquisitions or mergers to ensure thorough evaluation and risk assessment. Management Accounts: Collect and review monthly management accounts of investee companies to monitor financial performance and trends. Forecasting and Analysis: Develop forecasting tools and dashboards to analyze revenue variances, business trends, and industry sector trends. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficient in financial modelling and valuation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
