In this role you will be reporting to Regional Partner Business Director-Africa and will be responsible to contribute achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified countries and segments, create detailed business plans and implement actions with regular follow-up.Your responsibilitiesAchieving / exceeding financial KPI’s – orders, order and revenue gross margins, independent handling of partners with quarterly order targetsEffectively implementing the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional/local) in order to improve ABB market penetration and realizing growth aspirations in the assigned channelExecuting channel sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned market, achieving both qualitative and quantitative targets for assigned channel in a profitable way: orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity and customer satisfactionImplementing the agreed channel sales strategy and budget, contributing to the identification and achievement of appropriate channels and targets, contributing independently to sales negotiations and negotiating frame agreements Identifying and evaluating channel partners (as per agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with sales director and appointing them, regularly reporting progress against channel strategy, plans and budgetsConducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving problems, collaborating with marketing and sales teams and executing those activities that require channel/segment partner participationImplementing the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment, driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers, critical contributor to the assigned channel sales customer base growthYour backgroundBachelor’s Degree in relevant fieldMinimum 5 years of sales experience in SSA market – preferable but not mandatory and be open to travel Knowledge in Automation Products and SolutionsPreference would be Electrical, Electronics EngineersFluency in English language is mandatoryMore about usABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
