Implement and facilitate comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental programmes that will assist the operations to achieve zero incident tolerance and ensure compliance to company standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.KEY PERFORMANCE AREASSite inspection and auditIncident ManagementConducting health and safety studies and risk assessments both qualitative and quantitative to ensure compliance with health and safety legislationEnsure that project complies with the OH & S and the Client`s requirements.Monitor activities for compliance with the safety plan.Issue reports indicating status of activities/project compliance.Training of employeesManage and maintain both EMS & SMSDrive EHS continuous improvement initiativesQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCECertificate in Safety and Environmental Management.SAMTRAC / NEBOSH.SACPCMP Registration.SHEQ system Auditing 9001, 14001, OHSA 18001 and 45001.Qualification or relevant experience in regulatory requirementsH&S training & development (e.g. Incident Management, Risk Management, First Aid etc.).Minimum 5 years related experience in a similar position.Good knowledge in the OHS Act and other applicable legislations.COMPETENCIESDrive EHS continuous improvement initiativesComputer literateMethodical ThinkerAbility to communicate effectively on all levels including client interfaceEnsure proper administration of the incident reporting investigation system, legal documents and registersConduct Generic SHE Training and in-house coaching on SHE aspectsInternal audit and checking all SHE systems, list and files.Work with all employees, contractors and visitors to ensure that all safety policies, procedures and regulations are fully adhered to across the site on an ongoing basisShould you not hear from us within 21 days of the closing of the advert, kindly regard your application to have been unsuccessful.#J-18808-Ljbffr
