Our client, a key national organisation in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 12 month fixed term contract. The main purpose of this role would be to conduct end-to-end business analysis services to the organisation for the purpose of business optimisation, defining appropriate ICT solutions for business, and providing innovative solutions to business problems. RequirementsB Degree or equivalent (eg. BTech | BSc | BCom Informatics; Computer Science; Information Systems; Computer Engineering)Diploma in Business AnalysisMinimum eight years experience in Business AnalysisDeep proven experience with Securities Finance Transactions, Securities Lending and Borrowing, and Collateral Management Solutions Development programsKnowledge, experience and qualifications in Financial Markets(added advantage)Experience with Financial Sector industry-wide regulatory and/or compliance projects (added advantage)Advanced knowledge of unified modelling language (UML) and structured system analysis and design methodology (SSADM)Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial messaging (viz. ISO20022), extensible markup language (XML) and application programming interface (API) usage Experience working with data, data governance, treasury or capital markets systemsDeep knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)Skilled in business process analysis, design and documentationDuties and ResponsibilitiesIdentifying stakeholders who are impacted by an initiative or share a common business needPlanning and executing business analysis activitiesConsulting with business to understand business objectives, drivers, functions and structures, and developing detailed workflow analysesConsulting with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes or systems requirementsInvestigating problems and proposing possible solutions by interacting with users, developers and other participating stakeholdersAnalysing the feasibility of options, recommending viable solutions, validating these with stakeholders and updating the business requirements specification or change request documentWorking collaboratively with the business customers and technical stakeholders to document the specifications for a chosen solution in terms of information systems, processes and people requirementsLeading business requirements formulation and logical design in various committeesInteracting with architects and developers to ensure the system is properly implemented, and monitoring whether requirements are being metManaging the quality of the solution being deployed.Managing change requirements and specificationsParticipating in user acceptance testing (ensuring the deployed solution meets the business need)Participating in business transition activities#J-18808-Ljbffr
