Our client is looking for an experienced receptionist with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The receptionist will be required to manage the front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to the highest quality standards.General Duties and Responsibilities:Greet and welcome guests as they arriveDirect visitors to the appropriate person and officeAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, including all necessary stationery and materialsProvide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailReceive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveriesMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (logbook, visitor badges)Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stockUpdate calendars and schedule meetingsKeep updated records of office expenses and costsPerform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and spreadsheetsOrdering various business requirements, e.g. refreshments, diesel, sponsorship and promotional items, etc.Managing raised purchasing ordersCapturing invoicesAssistance with opening/closing project files as may be required from time to timeMaintain a register of vehicle-related issues to ensure licences and services are kept up-to-dateAd hoc projects/reportsRequirements and Skills:Speaks English and ZuluProven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with office equipmentProfessional attitude and appearanceWritten and verbal communication skillsResourceful and proactiveExcellent organisational skillsMulti-tasking and time managementCustomer serviceAccounts backgroundMatric; additional certification in Office Management is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
