This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join JJ Dempers Master Builders. The company currently requires the services of a Financial Manager to oversee the financial functions of a group of companies (three companies and four trusts).Specific duties include:Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statementStatutory returns and complianceFinancial management of the organisations, including creditors, debtors and management accountsFinancial advice to management on cashflow and cash movementsFinancial analysis and reportingFinancial forecastingOversee group’s fiscal activity, including treasury, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and auditingEnsure compliance with all financial regulations and legislationReviewing and improving internal financial controlsYear-end audit file preparation, including final trial balance, supporting reconciliations and year-end management accountRequirements:Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification (post-graduate degree will be beneficial)Completed articles (SAIPA / SAICA) will be advantageousAt least 5 years relevant experience (previous experience in the construction industry will strengthen the application)Strong attention to detail and accuracyMulti-tasking ability and ability to prioritiseDeadline-orientatedWell-developed communication and administration skillsAn individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mileProfessional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work
