Job Description:RCL FOODS is seeking an Instrument Mechanician to join our Sugar Division. The role will be based in Malelane and report to the Specialist: Instrumentation. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to carry out planned and autonomous maintenance to reduce unplanned maintenance and optimize plant availability. As well as to calibrate, repair and maintain control gear/instrumentation and associated equipment to ensure operation within set standards.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Ensure proper documentation of changes/modifications;Calibrate, repair and maintain control gear/instrumentation and associated equipment to ensure operation within set standards and produce calibration certificates;Maintain and improve existing PLC, SCADA systems and Instrumentation networks (hardware and software) and perform changes/modification as required;Carry out planned and autonomous maintenance, to reduce unplanned maintenance and optimize plant availability;Carry out installations, defined checks, troubleshooting, required testing, repairs and modifications to instrumentation and electronic equipment in accordance with specified instructions, including completing safety checks where required;Perform asset care activities as required by the Company maintenance systems and procedures, including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation to all stakeholders.Job Requirements:Trade Test certificate in Instrumentation.Proof of the successful completion of a formal Institutionalised training programme.Must have at least 5 years of experience in the Instrumentation field.Sugar & Milling work experience of 3 yearsFurther studies in the Instrumentation field in order to improve skills and competence, will be an added advantage.Ability to read, write and communicate in English.Computer Literacy.Self-motivated individual that can manage day-to-day activities and projects.Must be able to produce high-quality workmanship.To be considered for appointment, the candidate must be a South African citizenJob Details:Company:RCL FoodsVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location:Malelane, Mpumalanga, South AfricaApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
