Managing deadlines effectively Job Description A company that provides accounting services by using cloud-based systems to mostly international clients is seeking to hire a qualified Accountant. The role includes carrying out accounting and administrative tasks while supporting the accounting department and promoting business expansion. A suitable candidate would need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study with a minimum of 3 years' working experience. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Processing monthly accounting and payroll using various software programmes Providing assistance with administrative support tasks Compiling a trial balance, including verification of all control accounts Handling VAT, UIF, PAYE, and other statutory returns Calculating and filing income tax returns Maintaining monthly files and generating reports Managing deadlines effectively Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study 3 to 5 years' working experience from an accounting firm Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience with Xero, Sage Online, Simple Pay, Dext, and Greatsoft Online will be advantageous Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly detail-oriented Adaptable to changing environments Eager to learn more Great team player Work systematically Goal-orientated and problem-solving attitude Strong time management and communication skills Able to apply skills to different clients Comfortable communicating with an international client base Benefits In-office position with the option of hybrid working environment after 6 months #J-18808-Ljbffr
