Technology and Engineering Graphics and Design TeacherTechnology and Engineering Graphics and Design TeacherApplications are invited for the following permanent position commencing in January2025.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSApplicants should:hold a Bachelor of Education and/or Post Graduate Certificate in Educationbe registered with SACEbe fully qualified to teach Technology (Grades 8 & 9)be fully qualified to teach EGAD (Grades 10 to 12)have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar teaching positionunderstand current best practices in educationhave experience in independent education to Grade 12 level and with the IEBcurriculumREQUIRED COMPETENCIESSuitable candidates should:have a willingness to engage with students and their families on a personal level tohelp children in the best way possibledemonstrate planning and organisational skills with superior detail orientationpossess a willingness to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programmepossess knowledge of using ICT to enhance teaching and to completeadministration; particularly experience with CADsupport the Catholic ethos of the schoolcommit to the school’s transformation, equity and belonging strategic objectives insupport of an equitable, inclusive and safe school environment for allMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will be required to:create appropriate teaching materials and resourcesbe responsible for all duties as required of a teacherlead a classroom first by example of conduct and then by instructing studentsthrough excellent teachingadhere to the guidelines and requirements of the school’s calendarincorporate the school’s values into daily teachingremain abreast of developments and best practices in teachingInterested, suitably qualified applicants are to submit an updated Curriculum Vitae andmotivation letter to the email address below.
