Regional Manager (Sales) - People, Process&Technology Optimisation Regional Manager (Sales) - People, Process&Technology Optimisation Immersive Technologies, the global leader in mining equipment simulation and blended learning solutions with 30 years of mining industry experience is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop, support and improve our customers workforce capability in the SADC region. You will be part of Immersive’s EMEA&CIS team which includes 30 professionals delivering distinctive customer solutions which generate real results. This is a unique opportunity to work on relevant issues across the mining industry and touch people at the heart of it. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Regional Manager who has experience across a number of our domains (consultative sales, technology integration, continuous improvement, training design and delivery) bringing strong interpersonal skills to build your credibility as a trusted advisor to our customers, partners, and internal teams. The Role: Being the custodian of Immersive’s customer relationships over Africa, you’ll work proactively to Account Management a prestigious list of existing customer accounts and develop a pipeline of new sales opportunities. You will work with our Regional Services Manager to agree on customer retention strategies, showcasing our success stories where required. You’ll leverage our regional specialists to create sustainable impact, drive customer results and ensure strong customer relationships. Where necessary, you will also serve as the escalation point for both groups. You’ll be responsible for identifying sales opportunities and establishing key points of contact. You’ll develop senior level relationships within mining organisations and educate customers with new insights on products and services to improve their business via successful partnering and advocacy. You’ll have an ability to understand organisational risk and align technical solutions for mitigation. You’ll work with a level of professional discipline in building and managing an opportunity pipeline to ensure sales revenue targets are met, skilfully coaching customers through the buying process. Success in this role will be achieved by applicants who: Build compelling, strategic and tactical business cases proving ROI and results. Align unique insights to key customer priorities via a deep knowledge of the customers business. Understand and influence a wide range of customer stakeholders and can quantify value in terms of resolving an unrecognised problem or need. Interpersonal skills – a demonstrated ability to aid in the negotiation of priorities and resolve conflicts among all project participants. Analytical skills - a demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment, developing methods and techniques, and evaluating criteria for obtaining solutions. Ability to take high level direction and translate to specific actions and handle direction changes quickly and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic multi-tasked environment.
