Head of Business Development Solar C&I. Our client is a global developer of large-scale & commercial and industrial renewable energy projects.As the Head of Business Development C&I you will:Act as the company’s main lead for business development opportunities in the C&I sector across South Africa.Drive the company growth within the C&I market, using your personal professional network, you will identify opportunities to install solar power systems to C&I customers based on various financial models or enter into power purchase agreements (PPAs) to supply power to clients from larger scale solar power projects.Evaluate project opportunities from a technical, legal and commercial perspective.Co-ordinate all aspects of the deal execution process, including negotiations and finalization of all project and financing agreements.Lead an outstanding full customer relationship management experience and act as the key account lead for strategic customers.Lead and develop the wider C&I Sales team to support company growth.Establish the company as a partner of choice for various stakeholders in the business including local government and strategic investors.Support the company’s wider business development and networking efforts across South Africa.RequirementAs the successful candidate, you will:Primarily you will have the ability to open doors, shape and close deals in the C&I space.We are looking for someone who is a team player but enjoys driving their own ship when it comes to business development and can hit the ground running.Be an excellent negotiator, with communication skills that enable you to negotiate and develop business with senior-level executives.Strong commercial mindset with a solid knowledge of project and corporate finance concepts.Have several years C&I BD Management experience in the South African market, working for an IPP, developer or utility company.#J-18808-Ljbffr
