Job Description This role utilises expert knowledge in managing service level agreements with suppliers, setting direction for an operational unit, developing and taking accountability for a business plan which is aligned to segment strategy as well as managing a team of direct and indirect reports. The successful incumbent will be responsible for integrating delivery and metrics across the people, process, finance and customer dimensions of the business, delivering on strategic projects as a sponsor and supplier of resources under their control and will be accountable for thought leadership and best operating practice in response to external environment as well as being accountable for governance within their internal environment. Key responsibilities will include amongst others the following: Governance&Compliance Accountable for governance with their internal environment. Management Effectiveness Accountable for thought leadership and best operating practice in response to external environment. Develops Managers and Specialists under supervision. Drives operational excellence through area of supervision. Holds first line managers accountable for managerial work, including selection, performance management and talent management. Operational Efficiency Delivers on strategic projects as a sponsor and supplier of resources under their control. Integrates delivery and metrics across the people, process, finance and customer dimensions of the business. Develops and takes accountability for a business plan which is aligned to segment strategy. Sets direction for an operational unit. Vendor&Contract Management Manages service level agreements with suppliers and customers. Qualifications and Experience required: Matric Relevant Tertiary qualification. At least 5 years management experience in a financial services organisation. Familiarity with AML and relevant legislation, treasury and cash management Skills Education Closing Date 17 May 2024 The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
