Job DescriptionThis is a Senior Level Management role with both functional and business responsibilities.Responsible for setting up the vision, strategy and standards for the practice, manages the resources and budget and ensures the quality and delivery of the analysis services.The Practice lead provides thought leadership, mentoring and guidance to others.Recognized as a lead specialist and is an expert in both business and systems analysis techniques.Design and execute strategic services delivering business value to clients.The Practice Lead also navigates freely between strategy to deliver business value and solving problems in creating better products.Manage a team of chapter leads / senior analysts either in a direct management or matrix management reporting Develop the Feature Analysis capability and practiceCreate a requirements framework across the agile programme Lead the Feature Analyst practice within the organisation providing direction and oversight for the practice Define and establish best practices, methodologies and standardsMentoring and Coaching senior analysts, chapter leads and other feature analysts within the disciplineStandardisation of the feature analysts rolesCreate and develop the Feature Analyst learning journeyFacilitate regular practice engagement sessions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the practiceDrive the agile methodology and culture to support the agile practice within the organisationEnsure measurement of performance are in place for the feature analystsDevelop and maintain the feature analysts job description and gradingSourcing and recruitmentResponsible for establishing the sourcing and recruitment requirements for feature analystsDevelop and maintain assessment frameworks and criteria for sourcing and recruitmentLiaise with relevant stakeholders to determine demand and pipeline required for feature analystsManage relationships and/or contracts for sourcing feature analysts where demand requires to have contracted resourcesCreate and maintain a service framework with service offerings that will provide the foundation and standardisation:Investigation and problem analysisFeasibility assessment and business case developmentBusiness process improvementRequirements elicitation and definitionDecomposition of epics to stories and tasksEffective user story development including feature definition, technical requirements, non-functional requirements and quality acceptance criteriaUpdate of product documentation during feature release as well as post release to ensure relevant blue print documentation are maintained.SkillsEducationBachelor of Information Technology (BIT) (Required)Closing Date17 May 2024The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
