Description Procurement Clerk Summary of the Position The ideal candidate will be expected to administer purchase requests from the Head of the Department, obtain price quotes from suppliers, and handle various responsibilities. These include coordinating deliveries, addressing shortages or missed deliveries with suppliers, and providing diverse services related to the procurement of raw materials and manufacturing supplies. Effective communication with suppliers is a key aspect of the role. COMPETENCIES: · Proficiency in verbal and written communication · Sage Evolution experience will be advantageous. · Excellent team player with a high level of integrity and a passion for team success. · Ability to negotiate. · Detail Orientated · Ability to manage time / prioritise · Ability to work unsupervised. · Active Listening ability · High Achiever · Ability to multitask. · Ability to make decisions. · Confident EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: · Experience in finance will be advantageous. · Strong MS Office experience, namely Excel and Outlook.
