The Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children (SBCWC) is a an NPO that runs several programmes in response to gender-based violence, including a one-stop centre for women and children who are survivors of gender-based violence.SBCWC seeks to appoint a Financial Manager to be based in greater Cape Town starting 10 June or earlier.The position will report to the Director.This is a full-time position based at SBCWC. Partial remote working/ flexible work arrangement option available.Remuneration of R360,000 - R495,000 per annum CTC depending on qualifications and experience.Key Responsibilities:· Processing and reconciliation of all monthly financial information· Debtors and creditors management· Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly closing statements, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.· Analysis of financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and support strategic decision-making.· Preparation of organizational and programme/funding budgets· Preparation and presentation of Board Reports· Preparation of Annual Financial Statement and co-ordination of externa audit· Preparation of Funder financial reporting and co-ordination of Funder Reporting compliance· Statutory and Tax compliance· Ensuring compliance with finance policies, legislation and funder agreements· Regular monitoring of and improvement of financial management system· Formulate short and long term financial planning and strategy· Supervision of Retail programme (including billings, stock control, production)· Other related duties as requiredQualifications and experience:· Minimum qualification of B.
