We are looking for a 6 months FTC Quality Laboratory Assistant to join our quality team based in Pinetown, South Africa. About the Role The successful incumbent will be responsible for conducting quality audits as per ISO 13485:2016 requirements. They will also oversee the compiling of Quality Management Agreements for suppliers of raw/packaging material, Work Instructions and the updating of SOP’s ensuring that they are aligned to global procedures. If this is you, we'd love to talk. What You Will Do Responsible for handling customer complaints and capturing them in QIM. Investigation and closing of Quality Near Misses when required. Responsible for the coordination of non-conformance reports, CAPA and Change Control. Has the responsibility and authority to: - initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system. - identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. - initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels. Ensure audits are done as per the audit schedule and track findings to ensure timeous close-outs. Compiling of monthly quality reports. Adhere to all company protocols including relevant SOPs, Code of Conduct, Health&Safety standards etc. Who You Are Must have Matric with tertiary qualification. A scientific qualification will be an added advantage. Sound knowledge of ISO 13485:2016. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or scientific environment. Must have proficient skill on MS Office package. Must be able to work without supervision and be deadline driven. Must have report writing ability with good administrative skills. Must have high level of analytical reasoning, problem solving and decision-making ability. Must be a strong collaborator with good communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
