DOWNLOAD OUR ONE-PAGER to find out more about who we are in a nutshell.Duties & Responsibilities• Stand in for the Project Manager in his/her absence• Ensure that the unit is profitable at all times• Handling of cash - completing of sales control sheets correctly, balancing of theoretical and actual sales• Dealing with customers - requests for functions, function bookings, and complaints• Monitoring of daily resale outlet• Assist with stock takes. Ensure that goods received are checked against invoices for quantity and quality.• Control and manage front-of-house• Must be able to assist with functions• Compile a weekly summary of Profit and Loss for the unit.• Compile all bookkeeping returns required by the unit as per the times stipulated• Ensure all bookkeeping returns and trading analysis figures are balanced at all times as and when required• Ensure that issues from stores are done according to standardized recipes and recorded on Menutec• Compliant with all Tsebo Administrative Procedures, Staff Training as required, coordination of Head office training, and MDP's• Assist in managing All Cash from Change, Cash ups, Shortages, and banking• Build and maintain customer, supplier, and client relationships• Assist with HR and IR issues and ensure all document is processed by due dates and comply with company policy.• Attend Daily meetings• Do an investigation for the non-performing departments and come up with corrective actionSkills and Competencies• Interpersonal skills• Communication skills: verbal/written• Commitment and Excellence• Initiative• Organising/Planning skills• Productivity driven• Cost Awareness• Computer literacy- word, excel, and Axapta• Able to work accurately and under pressure• Strong analytical capabilities• Attention to detail is very importantQualifications• Matric and tertiary qualification in Culinary Studies & Upmarket Cooking Skills• Good in Functions and hands-on in the kitchen• Previous experience in a similar position is essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
