Job Title: Process Safety Engineer Location: Durban Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Process Safety Engineer to join their team in Durban. As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations within our facility, identifying potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them. Responsibilities: – Conducting process hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards – Developing safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with local and international regulations – Monitoring and analyzing process equipment performance to identify potential safety issues – Implementing safety training programs for staff to promote a safety-conscious work environment – Investigating and analyzing incidents and accidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions – Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement safety recommendations and improvements – Providing technical expertise and support to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field – Proven work experience as a Process Safety Engineer or similar role – In-depth knowledge of process safety standards and regulations – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to work independently and in a team environment – Proficiency in relevant software programs and tools Benefits: Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
