My client is a JSE Listed company in the renewable energy industry looking to hire a skilled Group Financial Manager to join their team. The main aim of this role is to oversee and handle all finance-related tasks for the group. This includes tasks like planning, managing budgets, forecasting, and negotiating deals. The successful candidate will will report directly to the Group CFO. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring monthly reporting is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards. Compilation of financial statements. Collaborating on budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making processes. Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Managing income tax, VAT, and PAYE matters in accordance with legal requirements. Implementing governance and controls to protect company assets and uphold financial integrity. Engaging with auditors during audits and providing necessary documentation and assistance. Handling requests from the holding company promptly and efficiently.
