The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campushas a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part Time) for the following module: Project Management Job Purpose: Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning. Key Performance Areas: Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Ideally: Degree in Project Management Alternatively: Degree in one of the Business-related fields(e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) - with Project Management to the third-year level Bachelor’s degree with Project Management or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or business management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Project Management/ entrepreneurship/ risk/ supply chain/ retail management Work experience as a project manager/ risk, entrepreneurship/ supply chain management/ retail management Working Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
