The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campushas a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) for the following module: Marketing Job Purpose: Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning. Key Performance Areas: Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Ideally: Honours in Marketing Alternatively: Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) – with Marketing to the third-year level Bachelor’s degree with Marketing or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Marketing/ Entrepreneurship/Supply Chain/Project Management Work experience as an entrepreneur, project manager or manager in the supply chain of an organisation/ project management experience in the field of marketing or the design and development of marketing tools or plans /online marketing Working Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
