To improve all elements that impact the customer journey, as well as providing fulfilment demand planning and performance visibility to the business. FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Define, implement and manage the ATP (Available to Promise) models across the banners to achieve strategic objectives. Design, develop and implement the differing customer journeys, based on product type, customer type or method of fulfilment. Present fulfillment performance visibility to the business, in the form of performance dashboards and reports. Interpret dashboard and reports regularly and provide detailed insights and action plans. Balance network constraints continuously to ensure the most optimised fulfilment network model, operational efficiency&effectiveness targets are achieved. Model all fulfillment resources requirements regularly to ensure change demand, cost reduction and improved customer value propositions. Influence and drive resolution process with relevant business owners from all sourcing and fulfilment system issues that arise. Ensure that all issues and their respective solutions are documented and shared with the management team Understand forecasted demand and adjust the network as required to handle the demand. Design and manage the order sourcing strategy to ensure business objectives are achieved. Ensure consistency in stock availability to support the fulfilment strategies Develop continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of influence of the role, and share best practices with team members. Implement best practice fulfilment and logistics standards. Utilise fulfilment agent learnings, to continuously improve systems&processes. Determine innovative methods for fulfilment agents to proactively resolve order issues before the SLA is reached in order to improve the customer value proposition Stakeholder Engagements Consolidate and align demand planning input from the sales and merchant functions, to ensure consistent and realistic assumptions and understand the impact of changes to the fulfilment plan Assist the Fulfilment Engineering Process Lead to enhance workflows that drive efficiency and productivity for all fulfilment operations. Ensure sound relationships with all key stakeholders&effective communication across departments and divisions Team Management Ensure that the team structure is resourced by motivated and empowered staff. Manage team delivery based on agreed performance plans. Manage non-performance through performance process. Implement individual development plans as per talent management requirements. Coach and mentor team Requirements: Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications and Experience required for this position Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar. Experience: 8-10 years’ of experience in ecommerce fulfilment, retail, logistics, distribution or warehousing.
