Job Description: Lead the development and maintenance of bills of materials and their corresponding 3D assemblies. Manage product data to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Create precise 3D parts and 2D drawings that meet supplier and regulatory standards. Collaborate globally with suppliers and customers to refine designs for optimal performance. Drive concept and design reviews to ensure excellence and innovation. Master CAD software and PLM systems to streamline design processes. Provide comprehensive support to customers in their day-to-day operations. Innovate solutions that drive cost reduction, service improvement, and product advancement. Coordinate closely with materials and purchasing teams to efficiently design and procure new parts. Collaborate with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering departments to optimize material usage and manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards in collaboration with Product Regulation and Compliance personnel. Skills&Experience: Possesses over 2 years of immersive mechanical design engineering expertise. Proficiently skilled in utilizing 3D CAD software for design projects. Flexible and willing to undertake international travel for varying durations. Demonstrates a solid track record of over 2 years of professional engagement within the field. Qualification: BEng/BSc/BTech degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
