Some heavy lifting and physically demanding duties are required. Strong communication skills are essential. The successful candidate for this position will have strong mechanical skills and follow all safety procedures and practices. OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily inspections of equipment prior to operation. Applying lubricants to the moving parts of equipment engines in order to prevent premature system wear and ensure ideal engine performance. Thoroughly check equipment for oil leaks Ensure that the equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Abide by all Safety standards and codes. Follow directions that are spoken or delivered by supervisor. The ability to work in a team environment while working independently and self-directed as needed. Perform other related tasks as required. REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of Lube experience Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Class 5 driver’s license Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Must be fit-for-duty. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada. If required, must be able to provide clean Canadian criminal record check.
