Send an email about this job to a friend or to yourself. We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to join the team with the expanding Corporate and Wedding department within the company. We are looking for someone with a successful background and broad experience in the corporate and wedding sector. Your responsibilities will be to source and secure new work, maintain current client relations, manage budgets, and run operations for the events. In office, you will be investigating, sourcing, and maintaining all new and old work, while budgeting and planning the operations for all future events, order all relevant stock and equipment, and liaise with clients directly to fulfil their needs. Once onsite, you will work with your team of staff and will need to ensure the efficiency of the operations while maintaining a level head. Experience required: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bar / event operation. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the event or hospitality sales sector. Experience with working small to large budgets. A valid driving licence&reliable transportation. Excellent ability to read, write and speak English. Can operate Microsoft applications and be computer literate. Able to confidently delegate whilst maintaining an all-round overview of the team while maintaining excellent leadership skills. Ability to communicate relevant information to all departments and stakeholders involved in the event. Working and staying calm under pressure. Willing to stay and work onsite at or near the event locations both during and outside of regular working hours.
