Key responsibilities: Performing analyses on Internal IT Infrastructure and Information Systems efficiency and integration. Reporting to management on IT Infrastructure and Information Systems development, implementation, and progress. Collaborating with development teams and departments, as well as incorporating user feedback. Ensuring IT Infrastructure and Information Systems innovation and implementation. Managing support teams and evaluating performance metrics. Overseeing IT Infrastructure and Information Systems user-testing and adjustments. Ensuring that products and services are delivered on time and within budget. Managing software and hardware installations and upgrades. Monitoring day-to-day operations, reporting on performance, and recommending actionable improvements when necessary. Ordering IT supplies and managing license and asset inventory, coordinating with accounting and finance departments to adhere to budget. Creating IT related procedures and protocols. Maintaining computer network infrastructure and ensuring network security. Department: Software Development Maintain, install and administrate database infrastructure. Identify, investigate, propose/recommend, install any IT support or reporting or other requested software. Maintain company IT related policies and procedures. Required Experience: A bachelor's degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or similar. Extensive experience in technical management, preferably in a related industry. Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Information Systems innovation and integration. Ability to manage IT support teams. Familiarity with database queries. Knowledge of database design and theories. Ability to work with data architects and other IT specialists to set up, maintain and monitor data networks. Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL or SQL/PSM. Experience with server installation and maintenance. Familiarity with database management best practices. Full understanding of the IT SDLC. Experience in ITIL and AGILE methodologies advantageous. Ability to diagnose faults, incidents, and problems, and implement required changes. Ensuring optimal hardware and software functionality, as well as network security. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. At least 5 years’ experience working with and maintaining, installing, customizing and optimizing databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
