Number of positions: 01 Location of positions: You will rotate annually between our operations in Thabazimbi; Mokopane; Rustenburg and Burgersfort Job Description -Your Role as a Ventilation Graduate Step into the future of mining with an exciting opportunity to apply your ventilation expertise across the Platinum value chain. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in key areas such as airflow analysis, underground climate control, and gas monitoring. You’ll work with advanced technologies and methods, including ventilation modelling, monitoring systems, and air quality control to ensure safe and efficient underground working conditions. Collaborating with industry experts, you’ll contribute to the optimisation of mine ventilation systems by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, improving energy efficiency, and maintaining optimal working environments. This immersive three-year programme includes rotations across multiple mining and processing sites, giving you exposure to both open-cast and underground environments, processing plants and a comprehensive understanding of mine ventilation in various mining conditions. Qualifications -To qualify for the Anglo American Platinum Graduate Programme, you must: Have completed Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering; OR Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering; OR Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mining Engineering Have completed your degree within the last 12 months or are due to graduate by December 2024. Have no more than 12 months post qualification completion, work experience. Be a team player with strong leadership potential. Demonstrate drive, ambition, and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
