Our client, a giant in their industry and with international partners, seeks your business intelligence and reporting experience. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning&Analysis, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence processes and procedures, including the effective use of data and BI tools, while also supporting Business Units in leveraging these resources to improve performance. Minimum Job Requirements: B.Com or Degree in Computer Science/Business. At least 5 years’ experience, implementing Business Intelligence and operational reporting strategy and delivery. Experience with data modelling, connectivity, dashboard creation, advanced analytics, scripting, optimisation, and machine learning on BI tools, particularly SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Qlik Sense, along with integration with SAP/Cognos Controller, highly advantageous. Experience in Consumer Products or FMCG, an added advantage. Competencies: Good skills and knowledge of BI, Data, Reporting and system methodologies and tools (including Cognos, Advanced Excel, Qlik). Strong data analysis and data mining skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Sound finance, data, business, and commercial acumen. Good judgement and decision-making abilities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including non-financial teams. Excellent communication skills. An initiative-taker with proven problem-solving skills. A strategic thinker to contribute to business growth and profitability. Contribute to the development of a positive team culture Willingness to travel to operations outside of South Africa. The Job: Implement and maintain business intelligence applications and data solutions. Ensure that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision-making capabilities. Prepare complex reports and gather intelligence data to make informed conclusions on business practices and present findings and progress to Senior Management team. Implement, integrate and extract data from data warehouses. Manage all data for transactional sources and prepare effective reports. Audit and take steps to remedy data quality. Take appropriate actions to maintain and improve Data Integrity. Maintain Data Governance standards, including management of licensing and accesses of users. Contribute to the improvement and review of Data Literacy. Design, code and manage Developers to meet specifications for physical, logical, and end user data, dashboards, and tools. Identify, research and resolve complex technical problems. Work with key business stakeholders, Process Leads and Business Partners and monitor all requirements for various valued added services. Manage, maintain and further develop the full bouquet of Finance apps, reports, dashboards, etc. Manage and prioritise developments (planned and adhoc) in Finance environment.
