Job Description:Your purpose is to head up our Head office Visual Merchandise team and to deliver our store customer experience through collaborating and co-ordinating Merchants, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Group Real Estate that aligns and achieves the company strategic goals to gain market share, drive sales targes and improve the overall shopping experience.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Maintain and keep up to date the store design guide, deliver store floorplans for new stores and assist the visual merchandising for store openingsFormulate and maintain the instore experience standards seasonally and drive training for stores which is appropriate to store profileInterpret the merchandise and brands strategy into relevant store design enhancements including but not limited to: floor layout, fixtures, fittings & space planning.Develop a visual merchandising strategy for each season and ensure the strategy is executed consistently for all stores.Drive in-store experience by creating visually appealing stores, monitor customer insights received through surveys and use knowledge when developing the visual merchandising strategy.Drive and oversee communication sent to a store level regarding visual merchandising.Design in-store visual displays and department layouts to support the sales objectives and highlight key products.Oversee all supplier budgets and relationships for all store fittings, fixtures, price points etc.Monitor product sales and space contribution to re-design and communicate department changes accordinglyDevelop a team of +- seven visual merchandisers through leadership and coaching.Job Requirements:7 to 10 years experience in Retail and at least 3 years experience in a management positionProficient in the use of the Adobe Design suite ( Keynote, InDesign, etc.)Experience in a Retail head office based Visual Merch role ( i.e. experience working with Merchant teams) is preferredGrade 12 with a relevant qualificationJob Details:Company:Mr Price GroupVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location:DurbanApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
