What you’ll be doing:As the Agile IT Project Manager, you'll be the captain of the project scrum, driving sprints with the finesse of a Springboks playmaker. Your mission: deliver top-notch IT solutions with speed and agility.Key Responsibilities:Scrum Mastery: Lead daily stand-ups and ensure the team is onside and ready for each sprint.Backlog Grooming: Prioritize and manage the product backlog like a seasoned coach strategizing for the next match.Sprint Planning: Coordinate sprint planning sessions to keep our team charging forward, much like the Springboks' offensive line.Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where every team member is a key player, working together to tackle challenges and achieve goals.Progress Tracking: Use agile metrics and dashboards to keep track of progress, ensuring we're always ahead of the game.Key Responsibilities:Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Rest Assured, ensuring the software performs like a well-oiled machine on match day.Game Plans: Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data, strategizing like a soccer manager preparing for the championship final.Defensive Line: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, keeping our software as secure as a solid defensive line.Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met, much like a team working together to score the winning goal.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques, always looking to improve our testing strategies and keep us ahead of the competition.Required Skills:Agile Expertise: In-depth understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with a focus on scrum.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, much like a Springboks captain leading his squad.Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick on your feet, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and tackle obstacles head-on.Communication: Strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective collaboration among all team members.Experience: Previous experience in IT project management and agile environments is a must.Personal attributes:A confident individual with a friendly personality, drive, energy, and enthusiasm together with a strong personal commitment to the delivery of high standards in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner who works in alignment with the company policies and procedures.
