Reference: 9527 MLR Consultant: Michelle le Roux Job Description: Calculating the required electrical systems, such as switchboards, cable reticulation&supporting systems, lighting plans, integration with plc's (including I/O lists and communication networks) Calculating electrical demands and load profiles Producing electrical diagrams and drawings, including drawing packages for contractors&sub-contractors Selecting components that meet the design and budget requirements and compiling accurate order lists (BOMs) Consultation with the sales, production and implementation departments regarding the organization and progress of the projects to be implemented Compliance with the schedule, budget, technical specifications and quality requirements of the projects Making adjustments in response to additional demands that emerge during the implementation of the project; registration of contract variations Be able to support the Project Manager in preparing work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers and clients if needed Qualifications: Relevant engineering degree and professional registration Knowledge of the relevant working packages Knowledge of the greenhouse construction industry - preferrable Able to work independently and accurately Able to think analytically and convert it in solutions Possess a positive "can-do" attitude Ability to manage multiple, complex activities Ability to plan&organize activities, multi-task and follow through on commitments.
