Supporting all the branches and department with *** and all other General Ledger-related queriesSkills, requirements and attributes:Have a sense of urgencyFluent in English both oral and in writingBe well organizedAble to work under pressure and in a teamAbility to take ownership and use initiativeGood demeanor & attitudeMust be a self-motivator with a positive proactive attitude.Attention to detail.Sage Evolution experience would be an advantage.Completed articles will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Perform General Ledger Account Reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.Month end journal and entries for month end close off.Assist in preparing management reports, review actual expenditure against budget.Perform reconciliations for VAT201 purposes.Oversee petty cash reconciliations.Assist in salary reconciliations.Experience in the transport logistics industry would be a benefit but not essential.Ensure Compliance with Policies and Procedures where you are involved.Liaise with all parties related to compliance, auditing and or financial management where needed.Key Responsibilities and Main Activities of this role are not limited to what is outlined in this job description.
