When it comes to putting people first, we're number 1. The number 1 Top Employer in South Africa. Certified by the TopEmployer Institute 2024.Your responsibilities will include: Assist with day to day Project coordination duties such as :Providing support to Project Managers in the team Project Admin duties (e.g. minutes, setting up meetings etc.)Tracking and reporting on the Status of various key projects (i.e. weekly, monthly, ad hoc etc.) Co-ordinate the compilation of project specifications. Assist with Identifying the correct business and 3rd party stakeholders to form part of the project’s work streams and steering committees.Assist with Drawing up and managing project plans and project schedules;Support the Accurate, regular, and ad-hoc project reporting to stakeholders;Ensure that all project management documentation is stored in a central repository.Assist project manager with Effective management of project deliverables, follow up on action items, document risks, issues, dependencies and concerns accompanied by escalations when required;Facilitate effective communication between key project resources by convening, initiating, planning and scheduling project review meetingsCollaborate with all relevant groups to ensure delivery against project plansPrepare documentation and reports for various levels of Management;Ensure timeous and effective escalation should it be required.Enable sound communication to ensure alignment and cooperation with other ReportingTracking and reporting on the status of various Purchase orders in the divisionRequest quotes from suppliers and engage with roleplayersThe ideal candidate for this role will have: Previous experience as a Project coordinator/administratorDiploma in Project Management/Business Administration or SAQA Accredited Equivalent* essential3-5 years of experience and knowledge of the telecom's environmentCore competencies, knowledge, and experience:Planning and OrganisingCoping with Pressures and SetbacksPersuading and InfluencingPresenting and Communicating InformationOral and written communicationTime Management Project Management skillsStakeholder management & relationship managementorganizing skillsWe make an impact by offering:Enticing incentive programs and competitive benefit packagesRetirement funds, risk benefits, and medical aid benefitsCell phone and data benefits, advantages fiber connection discounts, and exclusive staff discounts offered in collaboration with partner companiesClosing date for Applications: 03 April 2024.The base location for this role is Vodacom, Midrand Campus.The company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
