Position: Training ManagerSalary: Market relatedLocation: Kameeldrift, PretoriaJob type: PermanentIndustry: HospitalityReference Number: RDT.K.TM.03072024COMPANY DESCRIPTION:Our client, an upmarket Hotel and Conference Center in Pretoria, has a vacancy for a Training Manager to join their team as soon as possible.JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for identifying and assessing training needs within the company that are relevant to hospitality industry by developing training plans and methodologies which will be best suited for the organisation, with specific regard to:Producing competent employees in their core areas of operationImproving of service standardsMaximising customer serviceMAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis (KPI’s), career paths and consultation with the hotel department managersDevelop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needsDevelop training manuals that target tangible resultsImplement effective and purposeful training methodsEffectively manage the training budgetEvaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performanceAssess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvementDrive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activitiesEffectively communicate with team members, and managementCreate a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization’s goalsSelect and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver trainingManage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver trainingKeep abreast of training trends, developments and best practicesResponsible for the submission of the Annual Training Plan and Workplace Skills Plan to CATHSETAMonitor changes in the organisation and be quick to act upon new training opportunitiesProvide feedback and reports back to management on the performance of employees post trainingEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or a related field (essential)Qualified Trainer, Assessor and AssuranceEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in training and development managementHighly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication toolsAppropriate administrative experienceExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsSuperb track record in developing and executing successful training programsTO APPLY FOR THE POSITION, PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW:https://www.careers-page.com/the-globevest-group-2/job/QWY86R36POPIABy Submitting your CV, you confirm that:We may retain your personal information in our database for future matching.We may contact you when suitable opportunities arise.The information you have provided to us is true, correct and up to date.We endeavour to reply to each and every application, however, should you not hear back from us within 14 days please consider your application unsuccessful.#J-18808-Ljbffr
