Overview Job Title: Engineering PlannerLocation: Durban, South Africa x2Job Type: Full-time, PermanentHire Resolve’s client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Planner to join their team in Durban. The Engineering Planner will be responsible for coordinating and planning activities related to engineering projects, ensuring that all resources are effectively utilized and deadlines are met.Responsibilities:Ensure that all compliance requirements are captured and scheduled on the Sage EAM (Enterprise Asset Management System)Improve the ratio of planned to unplanned work.Improve maintenance personnel utilization.Close all maintenance job cards and ensure that the feedback is accurate and in the correct format.Arrange resources (spares, materials, hired labour for maintenance tasks).Technical discussions with suppliers regarding spares.Co–ordination of shutdown planning in conjunction with the maintenance manager.Issue job cards to artisans.Follow up with suppliers on deliveries.Set up and maintenance of maintenance store and controls stockRequirements:A Qualified Artisan (Preferably a Millwright)A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing industry.Computer Skills: MS Office, Sage, and EAM SystemProven experience in project planning and coordinationExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
