ADVERTISEMENTBranch Manager NewcastleReporting to: Regional General Manager CIT The above position is vacant at Newcastle branch, reporting to the Regional Manager.The overall purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Branch and ensuring that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.Minimum Requirements: Matric certificate, PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.At least 5 years’ experience in the Cash in Transit Industry.Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.People management experience.Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Computer literacy on Microsoft Programs.Own reliable transport and valid Driver’s Licence is required.Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive): Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the client SLABuilding relationships within the FSG group to ensure the correct levels of service is rendered in all aspectsConstantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services.SLA must be monitored and where not met; the necessary action plans must be put into place to ensure SLA target is met.Ensuring the ongoing measurement of staff and where needed, to intervene to ensure high levels of performance is maintained.Ensure that the branch administrative requirements are done in a timeous manner at the correct level of care.Escalating matters of importance/urgency to executive level where required.Submitting relevant weekly / monthly and daily incident and general reports as required by Senior Management.Continually reassessing the Branch/Operational risk in his sphere of responsibility and implementing the necessary preventative measures to manage the overall risk of the companyKnowledge of the CIT retail industry as well as Cash Management services.Fleet Management.Management of Branch Financial Monthly Operating Service- Cost Control/CPS.Management of various security features i.e. Branch/Vaults and vehiclesEnsure all regulatory compliance i.e. Firearms, Health and Safety, PSIRA, Road Traffic Act etc is complied withVendor ManagementOther Personality Attributes: Interpersonal skillsCommunicationCustomer FocusedAnalytical and critical thinking skillsCustomer focussedTeam playerCore Competencies: PlanningLeadershipOrganisational skillsControlInterested candidates whose credentials best match the requirements can send their CV’s before close of business on 10 June 2024.
