Duties:Cost Accounting:Analyse production costs and prepare detailed cost reports to assist management in decision-making.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop, implement, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Variance Analysis:Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Inventory Management:Oversee inventory valuation, control procedures, and periodic stock takes.Cost Reduction:Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve financial performance.Internal Controls:Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.Collaboration:Work closely with various departments to gather financial information, support business operations, and provide financial guidance. Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12)BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldBCom HonoursProfessional accounting certification CIMA is highly desirable Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost and management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
